Mixing & Mastering

Mixing and mastering are two key stages in turning a song into a finished, release-ready track. During mixing, all of the recorded elements—vocals, guitars, bass, keys, drums, all other instruments and effects—are carefully adjusted and combined into a balanced mix, with attention to clarity, energy, warmth, vocal presence, and overall cohesion so the song feels polished rather than like an unfinished demo.

After the mix is complete, mastering prepares the track for distribution by refining its loudness, balance, and clarity so it performs well across streaming services, headphones, car stereos, and speakers. Together, these steps bring out the depth, detail, and power in your music, helping it compete with professional releases on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, etc…

Mixing and mastering are important because they ensure your music sounds clear and balanced. Mixing shapes the relationship between every element in a song. Mastering then refines the final mix by optimizing loudness, tonal balance, and overall polish so the song translates well on different streaming platforms and listening setups. Without these steps, even a great song can sound unbalanced, quiet, or amateur compared to professional releases, making mixing and mastering essential for presenting your music at its best.

Podcast Editing & Production

As a podcast editor and producer, I specialize in transforming raw recordings into polished, engaging episodes. This role involves refining audio quality, removing distractions, balancing dialogue and music, and incorporating elements such as intros, outros, and sound design. With a focus on clarity, pacing, and overall flow, I ensure each episode maintains a professional sound and consistent structure, delivering a seamless listening experience for audiences.

In addition to editing and production, I also help individuals and teams get started with their own podcasts. From choosing the right recording setup and equipment to developing a workflow for recording, editing, and publishing, I provide guidance to make the process simple and approachable. Whether you're launching your first episode or building a long-term show, I can help you create a setup that fits your goals and keeps your podcast sounding professional from day one.

Scoring & Sound Editing

Music scoring brings emotion, atmosphere, and narrative depth to visual media. As a composer, I create original scores that enhance storytelling and help each project connect with its audience on a deeper level. Whether for film, short videos, podcasts, advertisements, or online content, every piece of music is carefully crafted to match the tone, pacing, and emotional arc of the visuals. From subtle ambient textures to cinematic arrangements, the goal is always to support the story while giving the project a unique and memorable sonic identity.

I work closely with creators, filmmakers, and producers to develop music that fits their vision and elevates the final production. My scoring services include custom composition, sound design elements, revisions based on creative feedback, and delivery of high-quality audio ready for integration into your project. Whether you need a full original score or a few key musical moments, I provide professional, tailored music that helps bring your story to life.

In addition to music scoring, I offer sound editing services for films, short films, documentaries, and other visual projects. This includes cleaning and enhancing dialogue, editing and placing sound effects, balancing audio levels, and creating a cohesive soundscape that supports the visuals. Careful sound editing ensures that every element—from dialogue to ambience—sounds clear, immersive, and professional, helping your project feel complete and engaging for the audience.

I offer custom lathe cut 7" and 10” records — made one at a time using a Rek-O-Kut Model R8-A embossing lathe. Unlike pressed vinyl, which requires a minimum order of 200+, lathe cuts have no minimum order and typical turnaround for small runs is just 1 to 2 weeks. Each record is individually inspected and delivers as low surface noise as possible, making them a great option for one-offs, short runs, and special releases.

It's worth knowing a few things about the format: lathe cuts are cut in mono, run quieter than pressed vinyl, can have a small amount of surface noise, and are best suited for standard home turntables with a magnetic cartridge. There is no setup fee and each release is custom mastered by me specifically for the format.

Lathe cuts are available in both 33rpm 7” and 10” records on clear, black, white, red, blue, and yellow polycarbonate. If you're looking for a physical release without the cost and minimums of a pressing plant, lathe cuts are a perfect option.
